I'll change the clocks on the coffee maker and the oven when I come across the instruction books, its not as if I use them for timekeeping in the first place! They're wrong anyway as the power was switched off when the electrickery meter was fiddled with* last month... * By an officially accredited fiddler, I must stress!

I thought "Unsporting" is Red Bulls unwritten motto, just as Mr Beans is "Eff 'em all"... As I had nothing to do at the time, I followed bits of qualifying on the BBC Sports stream. I'll take note of the result sometime tomorrow morning. Its only worth watching the highlights if something really dramatic happens!

I expect they do when the rotavator is a'twirlin...

If everything is dropping off, perhaps a bell on front, in the American fashion, might be a good idea?

The council put up Christmas street lights at the end of this week. I didn't realise* we were so close to Christmas! * Apart from the mincepies, etc in Aldi, which currently have sell-bys in late November....

Pune completely intended.... 🙂

Reminds me, I need to sort Yeti out, just a question of going into the MultiFunctionalDisplay and unticking the daylight saving box.

Though its then a case of removing everything thats on top, keeping it down, if you so choose... Swings and roundabouts!!!

Before ascending the wooden hill, I went around and reset all the Real Clocks in the house so there would be no confusion this morning. Now all I need do is check that the radio-controlled clocks bothered to listen to the time-change signal, otherwise its batteries out and reorientate them. Just as much fuss as a Real Clock, without the character! At least the Echo Dot with built in clock sorted itself out to wake me at the correct time!

Niiiiiiice!!! Proper Autumnal mists and mellow fruitfulness!!! A lovely dog, chock-full of proper Terrier inquisitiveness!

But doesn't it come back to haunt you in the wee small hours?

Missing bogies/pony trucks make me think that something died of MazakRot. I never feel that I want to welcome the surviving parts into my arms....

Perhaps Gostude is being employed as a listing consultant? The bargains listing is certainly picking up bad ebay habits. It'll be L@@K,RARE!!! next...

But its a BARGAIN!!! There are cheaper bargain locos available... https://www.hattons.co.uk/1135816/kitbuilt_kb2230_po_class_33_33026_in_br_blue_lima_locomotive_modified_to_p4_repainted_renumbered_/stockdetail I think thats the cheapest running bargain loco they have at present, scroll through their bargains list, its on page 38, with 144 items per page. They must have bought a container-load of "mixed modelling items"...

Nice, but a bit too modern for me.... 🙂

My immediate reaction was "Its a mutant Millenium Falcon"....

Hornby could ring the changes with the sets, putting a FS loco in "The Scotsman" rather than Blink Bonney and an alternative A4 in "The Easterner". Once that got out, the completists would buy, buy, buy, and the ordinary customer would be attracted to "The Scotsman" like wasps to jam...

Sounds fishy to me.... 🤔🤪

The knurled wheels are good on the Triang Dock Authority shunter, they make it sound like a "real diesel" when its moving!

I was also thinking that they looked rather clean for well tagged* coal wagons, though it is possible for brand new passenger trains to be smeared with graffiti** even before they have been delivered to their operators... *Even if the taggers are remarkably unimaginitave! ** For example... Liverpool Echo
