  1. Yeti has tinted back windows. I noticed them when I got the car, after time I got used to them!
  2. It's usually squeaky clean, I rarely search for "things"... Free the Dairy Three!!! Are they French farmers?

Or you can have a bedaubed (weathered!) Hornby Pug with an amazingly clean driver on the footplate. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256390267246 Its got wheels gears and motor. Good box too! A snip at £53.44 (inc delivery). Unique!
  4. Also, the length of the Tapiers "male organ" is 60% of its body length, drags along the ground and is often trodden upon, to the Tapiers distress. Or so I've been told...
  5. You often find trollies with over-large trolley tokens jammed in the slot for free!
  6. Is that the one called the "Rusty-Gate" bird? Arghhhhh!!! (cowers in a corner, terrified...) It was traditional, naturally! You can't toast the chocolate ones, the chocolate melts and runs out all over the bottom of the toaster...
  7. They all know you're a soft touch!

As the Alka-Seltzer advert said "plink, plink, fizz..." Although in the case above, it'd be "plink, plink, plink, plink, plink, plink, fizz..." KABOOM!!!
  9. Mmmmmmmm... A muggatea and a hot, toasted and buttered, Hot Cross Bun!
  10. Boinggggg!!! "Time for bed", said Zebedee, looking at Florence....
  11. The BBC are reporting it too https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/68163799 but Perhaps he might go on a "free transfer" for a year. Or it's a negotiating ploy with the moneymen at Merc? I wonder which sauces have been imbibed. Too much gin perhaps? 🤪
  12. I'm lost, cold and wet... Just like yesterday! 🤪
  13. Well! Lets wait to see whoever else reports this. Perhaps someone at skysports misread the calendar too... 🤪
  14. Cheshire Oaks is the outlet village from hell, a circular array of "fashion" shops around a car park. It shares many of the design features of the M25, mentioned in the Pratchett/Gaiman "Good Omens". I loathe being dragged around the place. Socks? Are you really after a pair of black lurex interwoven with golden threads knee-hi sox? Thats all you'll get there!
  15. I could have mentioned the Capital of the Readybrek kids, Sellafield!
  16. Think, or do it? (Where "it" may be whatever you "think"...)
  17. If you use the North West Today weather map, you're apparently closer to Barrow in Furness....
  18. Its amazing what a 9v battery can do. I recently tested a Dapol O gauge Terrier using a 9v battery that I usually use for testing OO gauge locos (the terminals fit across the wheels very nicely). Even that well-used battery sent the Terrier scurrying up and down the track in a very sprightly manner! Saw this in ebay madness. Sometimes "too hot" is possible... (but it does show how robust an X04 motor can be to generate so much heat...)

Glug glug.. A partially finished resin kit? Looking at the last image, it wouldn't go around ANY radius curve! Though the scale* is indeterminate... * Not quite, I posted from a tablet, and didn't notice that the title mentioned HO Gauge. The ebay layout and info for "mobile" devices is carp.

The problem is, what would you be trying to shift with 1 litre of liquid on the high pressure setting...

I think the controller was for its smaller sibling batteries, that were flatter. I've a torch that took the flatter ones. Can't remember the Ever Ready number for them...
  23. A lot of the jokes in these parts suffer the same disadvantage! 😬

You're on the wrong website for one of those... Though if you type the term into ebay, you'll get lots of suggestions. Here's a relatively safe example https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256380770449 Ebay Madness!!!
  25. Commentary on the "List Joke" 1: It's "without A mirror". 2: Don't you realise you have just upset those who have lost their hair, through age or illness? 3/4: Yes you can, you obviously didn't try it before making the list. 6: is a poor get out attempt. 7: No, more a long suffering sigh about pathetic "humourists". 8/9: No, I'm observant. 10: "Like"? The best you can hope for is a "Friendly/Supportive". If I'm feeling charitable... Grade: D- See me after the lesson.
