  1. Also, the latest heat pump central heating boiler replacement systems* for domestic use propane as the refrigerant as its apparently "environmentally friendly". But they can't be installed adjacent to a building airbrick in case they leak and an internal spark sets the gas off... * Electric cars for houses...
  2. I can do you a piggy bank....
  3. Yes, if it does escape, it lurks around at floor level, being heavier than air. If you go into the basement, even without your lit ciggie, you'll probably asphyxiate...
  4. On the lines of "so much down, and the rest over 24 months. 0% interest"? You should go for the heavy duty pent-roofed variety, with standing room up to the edges!
  5. "Anything for the weekend, sir?"
  6. Amazing! And look at all the instructions... Are they the ones that wash and blow dry? BUT The photo reminds me of Roman loos...
  7. Training in what? "Want" or "need"? Typical lack of information on the Fox News channel!
  8. Nahhh, too much black again. Full Yellow Ends, perhaps matched with Rail Blue bodywork.... And appropriate TOPS plates for trackside identification!
  9. Sod 'em. That's what I say! (Didn't notice that The Johnster had done that gag already!)
  10. Who would be rather miffed at your inconstancy?
  11. Dug it out. Its not quite as the illustration, its got a plainer headstock and doesn't have writing on the parchment. Found I'd even left my Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner in the case. Tuned it and played the mandatory 3 chord trick. Put it back in its case. Apparently I whistle in C# according to the tuner...

    EBay madness

Looks like it is. The legend at the bottom of the plug says it all... Rails will sell you a packet of 10 for £10.95 https://railsofsheffield.com/products/Bachmann-36-058-21-pin-decoder-blanking-plate-x10
  15. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun - Pink Floyd
  16. Sun Arise - Alice Cooper (Same song, but not the other bloke...)
  17. Perhaps its something best forgotten about, even for aussies... A good thing it wasn't illustrated*, such attire at a rising trot doesn't bear** thinking about! * At least the BBC didn't, but The Sun did... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/26017893/banned-show-jumping-mankini-horse-shane-rose/ ** bare? And let alone over a jump!
  18. Oh, the good old days! Now, you may telephone from anywhere, providing there's a signal... 🤪

    EBay madness

I was just thinking. I know that stuff classed as retro/vintage is priced accordingly on ebay (L@@K RARE!!!), but £110 would be a bit steep for a 13A bakelite plug... (I've got one of those huge 3 pin round pin ones, definitely retro, must be collectable....)

    EBay madness

Definitely madness. A collection of 15 miscellaneous pieces of Trix Twin fibre based track for only 60 quid https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175575976083 But it IS free postage! Same vendor, but a ticket to instant electrocution for a penny less than 110 quid https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175575952488 Again free postage, the bakelite plug and rubber mains cable indicates what you might be letting yourself in for...
  23. I must admit that I tend to be a connisseur of snot and phlegm, thanks to a very poorly childhood, the effects of which have dogged my heels through my life. Touch wood, so far I've been lucky this winter. Its been my fangs giving gyp instead!
  24. @Grizz Snot is very entertaining, you can compare rate of flow, volume, consistency and colour with each effusion!
