Yes, one of the GBL series (couldn't remember that when I posted). Its still a ripoff copy, and £35 is a bit steep. Note that the vendor has posed it on a piece of Super 4 track!

Talking about sad comedowns for brands, Eumig used to make nice 8mm projectors. The last time I saw a Eumig branded product, the logo was attached to a portable beachball/airbed inflator being sold by Aldi. And for connoisseurs of former British radio and TV brands, Alba and Bush are now applied willynilly to rebadged Chinese stuff sold by Argos.

Not at all. Charity shops pricing policy is aligned with similar items found on ebay. The most expensive equivalents at that... The influence of Mendacious Chiselers reaches that far!

I think the answer is "because". The "airfriers can do lots" meme reminds me of when domestic microwaves became popular. All sorts of suggestions for unlikely uses were published. When all is said and done, airfriers are good for things like chips....
