  1. On a similar note a lady with a massive goes into a drapers and asks for a 32DDD bra, the shop assistant replied "we don't stock anything that large, have you tried Binns" the customer replied "yes, but they don't half rattle about" Jim

  8. I am an admitted heathen - I drink a basic blend (Grouse, Bells etc) whatever is on offer in the supermarket with ice and ginger ale, but that is what I like, I have been bought many Malts in the past and they are nice (except Laphroiag) put don't get the tasting notes etc, I am pretty much surrounded by the stuff at work in Dumbarton, I pass the Auchentoshan Distillery, Ballantynes Bonded warehouses and work next door to the Chivas Regal bottling plant. Jim
  9. Rikki don't Lose That Number - Steely Dan
  10. I thought that I recognised the Corby photos but couldn't place then myself, I used to visit the works when I worked for my last employer about 8 years ago. The Cold Drawn Tube business had just relocated from Birmingham to Corby and as they were my supplier I had to check that they were relocating smoothly. This didn't happen as they punched a couple of holes in the roof to build new flues, and in doing so disturbed a lot of blue asbestos, so the site had to be sealed off while it was cleaned up. The hazards of reusing old industrial buildings indeed! Jim
  11. Last time I went spotting at North Queensferry this poster was stuck to the wall of the platform shelter, I am embarrassed to say that I couldn't suppress a snigger. Jim

  13. Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes - Paul Simon
  14. Ref the Mossend pictures, so sad that the vantage point is no longer accessible, it was a great meeting point for Scottish Enthusiasts. I remember one time that there were about a dozen cars there, everyone had received a tip-off that a class 59 was coming north on a test run, unfortunately it was caped that day. Luckily for me it did run a few weeks later, and I was one of the few that got photographs of it. Jim
  15. Hi all And we have completion of this little station building project, well as close as I am going to get this side of Xmas, some signs needed to be added and other minor detail, but with my Mother very ill in hospital, visiting times are filling up the evenings otherwise spent modelling!!! General View of the building from "ground level" Gents Toilet end, with the camera showing up the horrible bits that look bad Side view of the Gents Toilet end, showing the Gem drinking fountain and barred windows From above Ladies waiting room end, the bay windows were quite a challenge, a lot of thin sections of card that easily distort. Side Bay window Jim
