  1. Or started a protest, you could have held a Raleigh hat, coat etc.
  2. Amen to that - for years I thought that I had copped 60117 "Bois Roussel" on the scrapline at Shettleston, waiting to go into McWilliams for cutting. Turns out it was scrapped at Clayton and Davie of Dunston. I am sure I saw an LNER Pacific but McWilliams only Scrapped one, 60528 "Tudor Minstral" but it would be hard to mistake then cabside number 60117 for 60528. Jim
  3. Although the current state of 47564 stretches the classification of "preserved" a bit, spare boiler for other Jinties and a frame that is unlikely to see use again. Jim
  4. Try this page http://www.class90electriclocogroup.co.uk/class90_liveries.html
  5. Two things irritate me just now, firstly the current fad by people who want to sound intelligent to start ever answer with "so", the other is one that started in the USA and has become common here, that is the need to "reach out" to someone instead of talk to or contact, I am not a member of the Four Tops, and refuse to use this parlance. Jim
  6. Sadly it was in this condition before transfer from the Scottish Region, her is 47706 at Millerhill before removal of the Scotrail logo, some heavy oil spill also a feature Jim
  7. Is it an Urban Myth that Pet Food companies have human tasters? I certainly could not put most of what I feed the dog in my mouth.

  18. And when you get older and incontinence sets in.....
  19. It is a sad reflection on the state of the hobby in Scotland that there are so few model shops in general, not so long ago there were two in Paisley (one on my road home from work) and one conveniently placed in Cathcart Road. Now I have to travel to Uddingston to find a decent shop and even here stocks can be limited, Waddells are similarly poorly stocked compared to D&F. Jim
  20. [/url] If you model Colour light signals and are wondering about the length of hood to use, this one at the North end of the goods lines at Doncaster Station offers some variation, three aspects, three hood lengths and one is a different shape to boot!! Next - A surviving Semaphore Signal Jim
