  11. Towards the end of this video (taken by me) there is an empty ore train, unusually routed via Mossend, I could 21 wagons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ47SReq68g I waited all day that day for a triple header and came up blank, but I did get a lot of variety! There are 5 videos in the series, they should run one after the other. Jim

  15. ....while watching the footage of English fans in pitched battles with their friendly hosts (remember Marseille). The papers are already full of predictions of a "festival of violence", I seriously don't mind sitting this one out. Don't expect the local cops will be terribly helpful either. Jim
  16. Bring the Boys Back Home - Pink Floyd
  17. Or are the players being influenced by their club management, and being told not to take any unnecessary risks that could result in injury. I can see the point of a Premier League club owner being reluctant to see an expensive player catching an injury while on international duty that could rule him out for several club matches. Used to be quite common in Scotland for Rangers or Celtic to withdraw players from he squad due to an injury that miraculously was cured in time for the crunch club match the following weekend. Jim
  18. Not Orchestral I think, more likely engineering, something to do with the Charpy V-notch Test Perhaps :-)? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charpy_impact_test Jim

  20. Totally agree with this, had never heard of this expression until I started working for a US company last year, I hate it and refuse to use it. I also hate the current fad of starting every sentence with the word "so", seems to be essential for everyone who pretends to be intelligent. Jim
  21. Dutch Bus/Train - NS Sprinter at Appledoorn, with the Bus Station in the left background Jim
  22. Typical West Highland Summers Day, 2005 on the Jacobite at Mallaig as the fine rain (soaks you through) falls Jim
