  1. What a great layout. Don't know how I missed it !! Went back and read over the whole thread and really enjoyed watching your progress. The farm is brilliant. Look forward to seeing more. Regards Scott
  2. Good for sealing riverbeds etc.. as per here http://www.unrealdetails.com/
  3. Why would a serious collector want one that has been buggered about with?
  4. He probably paid more for one than the other and is trying to recoup his costs.
  5. We can but dream and maybe throw in an APT for good measure.
  6. Oooops my mistake. I haven't seen a lot of the Heartbeat series as they have only played a few episodes over here. I did a bit of digging and you are correct she does live with David in Greengrass' house. One less house to buy
  7. That was Tescos wasn't it You need to do Aunt Peggys' house next
  8. Love Greengrass' house !! I assume it an old Hornby product? The donkeys are nice touch, Preiser also have a similar product but in a pack of 3.
  9. The top of the old water tower certainly looks more like the prototype although would need a lick of paint.
  10. The Hornby code numbers are different though.
  11. Just had a read through your thread. Very impressive. I shall continue to follow along and watch with interest. Although it doesn't really fit in with my layout I am considering buying a Lion myself. Such a unique looking machine. Can I ask how you rigged up the Kadees? Is it a Kadee mounted to a tension lock? Regards Scott
  12. Well full sized loco were not made in China. Things just aren't made like they used to be. Look at the price of a cell phone, by the end of a 3 year term they are outdated and generally cannot hold much of a charge. The price to buy one outright though is ludicrous. I seriously don't think that 8 years of usage is that bad considering the technology and how things are made.
  13. Should a locomotive last longer than 8 years? Does an automobile? In this throw away society I would imagine 8 years is not to bad.
  14. Don\'t know how this thread escaped me!! Just spent a few moments going back over and having a read. What a great layout, some stunning photos too. Looking forward to the next round of updates. Regards Scott
  15. Has this been fixed now? I just purchased one of the new Railroad 31s and would hate for it to be affected.
  16. Wow there is some serious fantastic modelling in this thread. What a talented bunch of guys you all are. I am still coming to grips with plastic and Scalescenes kits so have nothing to add but will watch and learn ! Regards Scott
  17. That is a good sized building you have there. I may have missed it but what will its purpose be? Looking forward to seeing it develop. Would this be any good for thatch? http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/Item/FG172/page/1 or this http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/Item/FG171/page/1
  18. Looks pretty good to me judging by the photos. Now do you fancy doing one in OO? :D Regards Scott
  19. Thanks Lee, Sorry I think I used the wrong term regarding the cabs. I meant the interiors. Scott
