  1. So this is now a 4pin DCC ready loco? At first it was supposed to be DCC fitted, Hattons has it listed as 8pin DCC ready.

  3. Should I be looking at the Red one for my 80's layout? I thought I read that it was based on a preserved loco.

  11. That train was in my town, unfortunately I missed it this year.
  12. Can you get tippex in the UK that comes in a tape dispenser? It is a ribbon and goes on dry like sellotape.
  13. I enjoy the step by step photos as well and appreciate that Lee posts them. It is pretty easy to tell what is a WIP and what isn't IMO.

  18. Brrr and they say Canada is the the frozen North we have a light dusting and only about -6C here today.
  19. Sorry but I have to side with Hattons on this. They have policies in place and I am sorry but the customer is not always right. Had the locomotive not arrived they would have probably just written it off. It is the cost of doing business. As a consumer it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions. Hattons can hardly be blamed for you not reading them.
  20. At some point in its life it had to be assembled from parts. Perhaps that is his method of thinking?
