  1. Looks awesome guys!!! I just spent a few minuted trying to locate Sgt. Blaketon........can't find him though I like the Preiser donkeys too but I do like that the Langley ones are saddled up for the seaside!

  4. I am not sure as I am not a member but I think they were about £110.00
  5. Out of touch Ian they have been selling for that and more !! It is crazy though.
  6. It is a real credit to you AL, looking forward to seeing it finished.
  7. Looks amazing Al, you have much more patience than I.
  8. Looks great Neil, love the weathering on the 37.
  9. Detroit does have some rough areas but most people do use Detroit airport for travel.
  10. Windsor does have its own airport but not really for international. The nearest is Detroit, Michigan (about an hr) otherwise it would be Toronto (3 1/2hr drive or fly Toronto - Windsor)
  11. It may be a tight fit but it still looks bloody fabulous !!! If you ever need a vacation feel free to pop on over !! (You will be put to work though ) Don't come now though it is bloody freezing
  12. Can you not paint them flat and then bend them to shape?
  13. I have used his ebay store for something I needed (can't remember what though) It was worth the couple extra quid as I already had an eBay account and I was protected using Paypal. Using eBay is just easier sometimes. It is like being at the mall, everything under one roof as it were.
  14. Outstanding!! Thanks for posting updates as you go along. Much appreciated.
  15. Just had a read over this thread. Very nice layout ! Hopefully we will get to see some more photos and I shall watch with interest on your progress. Regards Scott
  16. Awesome Al, the goods shed looks very moody inside, great job.
  17. Layout is looking great. one of my favourites on here and definitely my favourite era!! Regards Scott
  18. I think I bought one pack of 17s but they are really short and currently I have 2nd & 3rd radius curves so I couldn't use them.
  19. I use Kadees #18 #19 & #20. I have also fitted some #5s and #146. For wagons that don't have the NEM at the right height I have made a barrier wagon with a tension lock one end and a Kadee on the other. So far everything seems to be working ok. I just need to figure out how to do the coaches now (Hornby MK2 & 3 with that stupid Airfix/Dapol tension lock !!!!) and the HST. C'mon Hornby get it together!
  20. Looks really good even for a WIP !!
  21. The film set looks great ! Happy New Year to you both
  22. Awesome photos Neil, looks like Santa was good to you. I got a RF 47, 6 different wagons and 9 oxford cars so not to bad for me either Regards Scott
