  1. This is lunacy !! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Horse-Grazing-HO-Preiser-Models-/310835863288?pt=Games_US&hash=item485f42def8&_uhb=1 about $4.99 MAX !
  2. Thanks for the info Kal, and in my excitement about the NEM pockets I totally forgot to mention how nice that willow is Jaz. I looks to be the perfect size for the location, nice job !!
  3. Looks like these are just the ticket Kal, Did you glue the pocket to the bogie on the 56? How are you determining the height before you glue? Have you had to shim anything yet? You need to try a ViTrains next and then a Heljan 58
  4. Very nice Lee, I think the 60 really suits the Large Logo and the Railfreight liveries. Shame they weren't about then.
  5. 20mm any good Jaz http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/ They have a WWI section also unrelated there are a couple of figures in the 20mm section under riots that look not too bad. also in scenics some nice farm wagons.
  6. Have to agree and add that their website is super easy to use, shipping to overseas is a breeze. Never had any problems to date. The also have a facebook page which they monitor and are involved in quite regularly. Too many businesses have a facebook page but don't participate (why bother then?)
  7. Stunning!!! Without a doubt 2 of the best buildings on here.
  8. Very nice! I like what you did with the depot, great idea. (May have to pinch that one ) I see you have the railbus from hattons, what do you think to it? I am considering buying one myself as I cover roughly the same time frame as yourself, with a bit of creative licensing. Regards Scott
  9. Wow a lot going on !! The last scene on the river is spectacular! The new 128 a nice addition and one I am thinking of getting myself. The cottages look interesting, I was looking at the post office which I may have a go at. Will you be doing a follow along? Be interesting to see how the NEM pockets turn out. I could be wrong but are they for cranked tension locks? which would set them at the wrong height for the Kadee NEM couplers?
  10. Thanks for the info, never though of building town walls before until I saw this thread !!
  11. But Bachmann aren't the first to do this and they won't be the last.
  12. Looks great, the warehouse really does look the biz!! I also like the walls/tower, what paper did you use for them?
  13. I have bought 18, 19, & 20s. I find the 19 the best compromise. I don't have a model shop to hand that stocks these for obvious reasons so I just order 19s now so to be assured of minimal running problems and having to wait until they do another order. I think I have used the #5 on a Dapol wagon and also on some older Hornby wagons that use the riveted on tension lock. I have also used it on a Bachmann ballast wagon that had the cranked tension locks. I think I also picked up some whisker 146s. not sure why though, mainly to experiment but I think they work on the Hornby MK2 & 3s.
  14. Looking forward to following along with this build.
  15. Just had a read over this, what a great looking layout. Can I asked what blue you used for the steel works? and did you abandon the coke ovens? Regards Scott
  16. There is also going to be an article in March's Hornby magazine on how to fit sound into one of these.
  17. Amazon aren't "actually" selling the Tarmac version though. They have it listed on their website with a delivery time of 1-2 months. Just like Hattons has it on the site for preorder.
  18. They do look very nice Jaz, and appear to b a decent sized wagon. I prefer them with the 03 as well
  19. Doing a search for ViTrains and Kadees it appears that the on resolve is to file a NEM Kadee with a dovetail to match the Vitrains and glue in place. It doesn't appear to be a perfect solution however and some have mention uncoupling and derailing of stock. Surely someone has attached a NEM pocket to one of these?
  20. According to Wikipedia Keighley only had trams up until 1924. Closed due to the popularity of buses.
