I think what I will do is pick up a TGS and Buffet in the executive livery and run them with the B/G TOs & SOs and either Swallow or Executive PCs.

Really disappointed with this whole HST MK3 fiasco. These are not cheap and there is just no consistency. I guess as long as people keep snapping them up things will never change. I am most disappointed that the coaches I bought brand new just a year or so ago do not match (in terms of glazing) the TGS and Buffet car that I need to complete a full rake. I think for this kind of money (they are at the top end of the price range for what they are) they at least need NEM pockets and they need to match !

Layout looks fantastic !! Nice new additions to the fleet as well. Funny about the seacows, I have issues with the Bachmann one but my Hornby ones run fine.

Buy a new can, then if able to pop off the nozzle and use it on the old can first.

Can you drill fine holes and use metal rods?

Why would they bill you again if you have already paid for it?

It is only where Bachmann has pulled the RRP that they are refusing, all others appear to be honoured. TBH do not know what all the fuss is about.

As Bachmann have withdrawn the RRP i think they are well within their right to not honour the price. They need to turn a profit and without an RRP they can't really set a price. I think Hattons have always been open with the pricing. On the Bachmann DCC MKII they have an estimated price with a note saying they will contact if pricing changes allowing you to cancel your order. They have also honoured items that have since had a price increase. Sounds like sour grapes if you ask me.

Must get me one of those Class 20s. I have one in RailFreight redstripe. Just need a blue to go along with.
