  1. Sounds like I won't be disappointed either then, just order a pair of 8pins to put in my HST. I normal buy Bachmann chips but at £15 x 2 that is almost half a loco !!!
  2. Someone has replied to you just above your last post. It would also pay to be a little nicer when you post.
  3. Bet the residents of the cottages are pleased ! More great photos, layout is looking a treat.
  4. Very nice, had a quick skim over your recent article in BRM hope to read it fully tonight.
  5. These are going to look nice when done. Am I the only one though that sees a modern highrise office building ?
  6. Don't confuse a blanking chip with a DCC chip, all locos nowadays are DCC ready most are just not fitted.
  7. Got mine chipped and it ran sweet as a nut. Had to flip the nem pockets over to get the kadees about the right height. Very pleased with it now.
  8. Sorry I meant that it will run ok on DCC as my first one became even worse when I chipped it. I have given it a run in on DC and it perform very nicely both ways, hopefully will be chipped tonight
  9. Not much info on their website either, they were supposed to be released 2nd quarter of 2014.
  10. Well I received a replacement yesterday, wasn't feeling that great so didn't get to play with it but did run it down a couple of straights on DC and it seems to perform much, much better. Fingers crossed I can get it chipped !!
  11. Don't forget the buffers !! I would be in for a railroad HST and coaches....................at speed on the layout would it even matter ?
  12. Very nice Al, with regards to the finial could you not drill a hole into it and add a small piece or brass tube or similar to give it more surface area for the glue?
  13. I paid £80 although it wasn't brand new it was DCC fitted.
  14. According to their website that is NOT in the Railroad range !!!
  15. Very nice, I am waiting for one to arrive in the post this week.
  16. I'll third it and look forward to following along with the build.
