  1. Sorry should have been more clear. If the 91 was re-motored (to make it like the HST) the DVT wouldn't need to be motorized.
  2. The HST set only has 1 motor and works beautifully, not so sure the 91 and DVT would need a motor each.
  3. Could you use some of the fine Tamiya masking tape to cover it up ?
  4. Could you just not chip one of each class? I think if you chipped them all you would need shares in Paracetamol !!
  5. You could probably just exhibit the hotel on its own !! Just stunning.
  6. Not making the powers cars encourages it too
  7. That is amazing. That is amazing !!
  8. The other problem is that people are still buying the MK3s as is, so why would Hornby make any changes. The Class 91 and MK4s are another example and look at the amount of notes they expect people to shell out for the VTEC set !!
  9. Any good ? Not mine and no association with the seller http://www.shapeways.com/product/KC2EECNC3/kitchen-and-bath-stuff-ho-scale
  10. 10 MK3s and two power cars, one release a month over the year Simples......................won't happen though.
  11. No problem, I have always found the hattons.co.uk site a little hard to navigate and I think I would be in the position were it not for ehattons.
  12. Are you using ehattons? Just searched and came up with a whole list of 9Fs !!
  13. I personally think the MK3 by Hornby is more than adequate. Price wise I don't need anything added (discbrakes etc...)as the MK3s are expensive enough as they are, present buffer car blunder accepted. And I certainly don't need them to be lit, too gimicky ! However a new range of MK3s would be needed for the new power cars.
  14. Thanks, will have to have another look at mine.
  15. Very nice, I picked up the Balfour version. I see that your Kadees line up with the wagon, on mine they are a little low. Did you do anything special to achieve this? Regards Scott
  16. Makes you wonder why Hornby don't provide two powered cars, Just an excuse to fleece us perhaps
  17. £4 for decoder isn't bad at all !! I have bought a few 2nd hand items that were DCC fitted no problems with them what so ever. Not sure what type of decoder they have in them as not important to me.
  18. Wonderful, you have a great looking layout.
  19. Hattons have it listed for I think £183 so not likely.
  20. Personally I think it will be the old tooling at that price and that Hornby has just lost the plot. That being said I still see this item being sold out and once again Hornby will see no reason to update it.
