  1. It's definitely warm enough to go down the pub! Straight into the beer garden...cold pint of ale in hand!
  2. Hi Cav, What colour did you paint the side nose grills on your 37? Best regards, Jeremy
  3. Looks excellent Cav! Definitely an improvement. Will you be cutting off the coupling at one end and adding the buffer beam detailing?
  4. I may well come up to High Wycombe! Let me know the date as I'd really like to see Banbury in the flesh! Best regards, Jeremy
  5. Hi Ian, Will you be exhibiting Banbury at this years Warley exhibition? Best regards, Jeremy
  6. Worth the effort mate. If you've done the 45, the 37 will be a doddle. Best regards, Jeremy
  7. Hi Cav, I raised mine by 1/2 mm. I cut the side frames off using a razor blade to get a nice clean cut. 1/2 mm plasticard strip is then glued to the top of the front of the frame to give the height, then the frames are glued back in place to that height, one side at a time. Best regards, Jeremy
  8. Pasty and a nice cold bottle of Tribute Ale to wash it down with!!!
  9. Superb stuff Ian! I'm really enjoying following your progress on this excellent layout. Best regards, Jeremy
  10. Hi Cav, I agree with Peter, it's worth doing the bogie mod as I have done with my 37's. Here's 37181 which I have modified recently. Best regards, Jeremy
  11. Looking good Cav! Are you going to do the bogie modification to reduce the gap between bogie and body? Best regards, Jeremy
  12. Top stuff Cav! To be honest, the current farish MK2's are pretty decent and with a little upgrading and your couplings they will look the part. Best regards, Jeremy
  13. That looks absolutely superb David! Looking forward to seeing this running on your layout. Best regards, Jeremy
  14. Wonderful set of pictures there! Now if that doesn't inspire someone to build a model of this station......!! Best regards, Jeremy
  15. I thought the CDA's only had one pipe as in this shot. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ews60002/7755402870/sizes/l/
  16. I think the underframe is the same for both HEA and CDA hoppers so should be fine.
  17. Hi Cav, Definitely would like some for my MK2 air cons and china clay CDA's. Best regards, Jeremy
  18. Count me in on those couplings please Cav! They look awesome!
  19. Might be worth just keeping it all on one level then as it shouldn't show from a normal viewing angle, especially in N.
  20. The gradients would look good mate. Does the land level out through the station? I decided not to have the elevated section at the western end of Par as it would have been a nightmare going into the fiddle yard.
