Hallo, I entered "Protoype HST" in Google.de and clicked on photos (or whatever it's called) and did not find any difference in the yellow ends in the photos that were displayed, and there were scores of photos. Hallo, 1970 brochure as well. Queue a chance to unashamebly (is that a word?) reminisce I remember doing the N-le-W to Stirling in both directions and it was probably 1970 as we moved from the area in 1971. There was a restaurant car on the service, and my father had to "reserve seats" as we boarded. It was 1st come 1st served. For a 9yr old it was something special travelling 1st class and eating on the train. In Stirling on the return journey travelling south we watched the carflats being marshalled before being rounded up for the departure. es grüßt pc

Hallo, I find it interesting that when discussing the EPB it is always a 2EPB. I remember them from the Sidcup line and I always remember trains on the lines to Dartford 1x 4coach, or 2x 4coach or 1x 2coach + 2x 4coach depending on the day and time of day To me designing a 4EPB for N would be of more use and you can sell both versions from day 1 and the centre coaches fall in the bracket "design 1 sell 2", right? EPBs are for me the epitome of 70s commuterland and such trains were nearly always run in multiples. I also expect most layouts wanting to incorporate these could easily run a 4 coach version Please correct me if I am wrong es grüßt pc

I have not been able to find one, though was trying to work it out from the graphic. Hallo Ben, Thanks for clearing that point. I will look forward to this model being on sale. The photos show that it will be good. Everybody should be encouraged to buy it. I unfortunately did not ride it back then, saw it a couple of times at Cardiff (was it still General back then?) and the only time I would have been able to travel on it in service, they substituted the normal Class47 & MK2s, it was 9am ex Paddington can't remember the return trip from Swansea es grüßt pc

hallo, if sold as a pack of 2power cars and 2 two coaches, good chance that Dapol will get slammed if the other coaches are not produced, especially if a the other catering car is not produced if sold as a single power car good chance that Dapol will get slammed for not producing the other vehicles. So saying this I hope the community respect Dapol's decision whatever that is and although I am will out myself as not being a huge Dapol fan (Silver Bullets aside) I will definitely support this project. Maybe a product more suitable for the absolutely current scene, where "anything goes" when it comes to liveries I seriously do not want to open a can of worms, when I write that I just find the comment about Dapol wanting to "get this one right" strange, as that should be their strategy for all their products.
