BernardTPM
Maybe have one of these 'sci-fi' type craft at the airport too.
34theletterbetweenB&D
Well, at least that was pointing in a direction that the Bristol Brabazon and Saunders-Roe Princess very definitely weren't.

I had a rummage through my paints and found some Humbrol light blue that looked close enough, not being overly concerned about getting it dead-on. I'm just waiting for it to dry before proceding with the darker blue. I've got Derek Meddings' book and it looks as if the shades (not to mention details) varied a bit between the models, especially the big one they used for the tailplane shots. Have you done a Zero-X? That's one I'd really like to tackle.
Dan Griffin
I'd love to do Zero X and Skyship one, but the costs proved prohibitive for me. especially since I built model spaces' big Thunderbird 2 and vehicles. I have built the Aoshima FAB1 and Thunderbird 1, also TB3 and TB5
Ozexpatriate
Sadly LEGO has not chosen to proceed with Thunderbird 2 under their LEGO Ideas theme. It was a worthy submission. Licensing concerns and global interest can contribute to an idea not being adopted despite qualifying with 10,000 votes.
