Really like the variation of vegetation going on there Rob.  Wild without anything looking out of place.

Jay

Exactly my thoughts.  It's the variation that makes it so realistic.  Fine work!

Chateau Sheep is in a somewhat distressed state this morning. We are currently without windows as they are in the course of being replaced en masse.

Putting a dent in the 'lump sum' Gunsmoke old son ?

Thanks Chris, Kevin.

There's still a lot to do. Trying to finish the green stuff this weekend and hopefully I can pop it under the layout lighting for the first time by Monday.

Then we'll really see how it all looks.........

The combination of ash ballast and grass looks great. I notice you’ve still got those reeds to sort out though Rob!

Hi Jay,

They've been ordered.........if they arrive in time they'll go on.  There will be some things which I simply cannot do in the next nine days  actually seven discounting what's left of today and the day of the show...

Take out of that two days in work plus Easter duties and it's not looking very  good at all.......oh and the show itself to keep an eye on.

That reminds me, I need to rejig the floor plan

I’m kidding mate, the layout looks great regardless. You’ve got a lot going on over the next week by the sounds of it. Anything you can delegate? Happy to help you out if there’s anything I’m able to do.

Don't worry, Jay. I know. That's kind of you  but what gets done, gets done. What doesn't etc etc.......

Anyhow, I'm rubbish at delegating..

You can always operate for a bit at the show..........

Morning John, et al.

Yes. They could stick out like a dogs whatsists but the grass hides them to a certain extent. When I painted the track, they were done at the same time. The red oxide finish also helps and in thd future, they might well get some weathering but for now they'll do.

Today, the scenic treatment continues........

That certainly was a productive day.  I know what you mean about the static grass; it's similar to how sand keeps showing up everywhere weeks after a visit to the beach...
