Breakfast, lunch and dinner are temporary solutions. In my case, very temporary 😜

I do like the little shunty thing though. It looks like it escaped a local quarry.

The two little shunty things were loaned by a nice gentleman who offers DCC services. Mr Sheep was particularly taken with the realistic sounds produced by both locos. The klaxon was sounded... frequently!

Needless to say, I gave that particular area a wide berth..........

I'm convinced it's one of those colour blind tests. If you stare at it long enough you should see a number appear, unless you're colour blind that is.

Model the above on an exhibition layout and wait for all the rivet counters to tell you it’s “unprototypical” 🤣

I think it’s quite brilliant as a piece of advertising!

I watched that video the other day, I must say some of his shots were so good for a second they looked real.

He must be using a good lighting set up as it all looks like natural light.

Course it helps when the item being filmed is also high quality.

Morning all,

Happy July. I've been finding it tricky to post stuff following an upgrade to my phone last week. It's still a bit hit and miss but I think I may now have resolved the gremlins.

Ewe is off to the Penarth show on the week end so will be giving things a post-Exeter clean up this week.

After that, no exhibitions until September so a bit of a break. In the interim, I'm looking forward to visits to Larkrail and Railwells.

So, pretty much continuing the current theme with not much to report following the demise of Lambsdown.

Hi Rob,

You may wish to speak to the organisers of Railwells as they still have you down to attend the show with Lambsdown on their website. Maybe an admin error on their website maintenance.

Hi Steve,

They are aware. I have the email. I'm sure they'll tidy things up.

Morning all,

As posted in the area groups section, Ewe will be appearing at the Rmweb Midlands Area Group Members Day in September.

I don't get many trips 'oop north' so I'm looking forward to this and for the chance to meet up with @Tom F who is doing a weathering demonstration.

And the following weekend............

Ewe is off to Kent.

Railex2024Banner-1.jpg.5f775122b0cfc70adaca7450bc8e5db5.jpg

WHEN: Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September 2024, 10am – 4:30pm

WHERE: The Market Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8LW
5 minutes walk from Maidstone West Railway Station.
Ample parking is available at the nearby (pay at machine or via RingGo app).
The Market Hall is a wheelchair-friendly venue.

A bit of a step from here but should be fun. Please note that this is being held on a Friday and Saturday as opposed to the "normal" Sat/Sun.

Hopefully those nice Rapido chaps will let you play  with run one of their lovely Metropolitan E Class locomotives on Ewe...

Make certain you leave a piece of wool securely attached to something heavy at Chateau Sheep. That way if you get lost you'll be able to follow the wool home.
