RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted June 24 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted June 24 And with regards to Exeter, the weekend was excellent, more so thanks to Tim joining me over both days to share the operating and how nice it was. Ewe was well received and lots of nice types stopped to chat. Very entertaining it was. Saturday evening was spent in the company of Tim, John @Re6/6 and Graham @Graham_Muz in the rather nice surroundings of The Dartmoor Halfway Inn. Triphome was the usual M5 on a Sunday afternoon and I have to say I was pretty pooped yesterday evening. Today, Sheep 3 has been unloaded and I'm now taking it easy. Next outing for Ewe is to Penarth in just under two weeks time. Rob 15 2

woodenhead
I watched that video the other day, I must say some of his shots were so good for a second they looked real. He must be using a good lighting set up as it all looks like natural light. Course it helps when the item being filmed is also high quality. 2
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted July 1 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1 Morning all, Happy July. I've been finding it tricky to post stuff following an upgrade to my phone last week. It's still a bit hit and miss but I think I may now have resolved the gremlins. Ewe is off to the Penarth show on the week end so will be giving things a post-Exeter clean up this week. After that, no exhibitions until September so a bit of a break. In the interim, I'm looking forward to visits to Larkrail and Railwells. So, pretty much continuing the current theme with not much to report following the demise of Lambsdown. Rob. 7

steve45
Hi Rob, You may wish to speak to the organisers of Railwells as they still have you down to attend the show with Lambsdown on their website. Maybe an admin error on their website maintenance. https://railwells.com/railway-show/railwells-show-2024/

RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted July 2 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 2 Morning all, As posted in the area groups section, Ewe will be appearing at the Rmweb Midlands Area Group Members Day in September. I don't get many trips 'oop north' so I'm looking forward to this and for the chance to meet up with @Tom F who is doing a weathering demonstration. That way if you get lost you'll be able to follow the wool home.
