All done and back at Chateau Sheep. Much numbness and slings but a pretty good effort from all involved in the treatment. Time will tell what, if any, difference it makes but it's worth a go. Rob Medicinal brandy. On prescription. Sorted.

Gives you time to enjoy the Dapol catalogue online, did we mention they also did Panniers which are less ‘far away’ than the Accurascale ones? RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted December 2, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted December 2, 2023 Morning all, The hoof continues to make progress with a bit more movement this morning. I'm back with the Dr. on Friday so we'll have a better idea then. The main thing on the agenda is SWAG but whereas I'd hoped to get details out today, it's best that I hold off for another week or so........but it's in hand ( ! ) Rob. 5
RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted December 4, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted December 4, 2023 Afternoon all, Progress. First bit of railway modelling type stuff attempted. I fitted a decoder to a SE&CR P Class. Body removed, decoder fitted, reassembled and tested. Ran well and certainly looked the part with the two Hattons 4 wheelers though I still consider the ensemble to be a tad bright after modelling 1950s BR for so long. All good and hoof seemed compliant. Rob. 17 5
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted December 4, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 4, 2023 Great to hear the hoof is increasingly talking to the rest of you, Rob. A P Class is not much of a loco, size-wise, so a fair test of nimble fingers. Well done! 3

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted December 4, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted December 4, 2023 Fact- You can have a lot of fun with a small loco and one small van. Rob 13 5 1 1
RMweb Premium New Haven Neil Posted December 4, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 4, 2023 Isn't that just lovely. The white carriage roofs are a bit....white....still, but I'm sure there is a plan! But what a fantastic scene that has made, that livery is fantastic and for some reason the weeds n stuff just makes it all pop in that first photo in particular. Soup-erb.

Yes, the white roofs will be taken in hand, no idea how yet but it will happen. The good thing is such treatment to the roofs is aided by the fact that they are removable. They can be tackled as individual projects. The Wainwright loco livery is just sublime and I shall be exercising caution when weathering these locos. You're spot on regarding the colouring and the effect of the scenery. Perhaps more than the other layouts, Lambsdown will have much thought given to how the various colours influence each other. Something of an Edwardian Flower Power layout really. Yeah Baby ! Edited December 5, 2023 by NHY 581 10

Period platform flora and a rather unofficial station garden perhaps? Polished locos but with plenty of dark oil and grease in appropriate areas? I'm sure you'll manage it and add to your skills in the process. 😎 1 1
