RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted October 27, 2022 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 27, 2022 Morning all, The dust has settled after the expedition to Taunton. Bleat has been returned to it's perch in the Room of Doom which is set to undergo a further tidy up ahead of the winter modelling season. With no exhibition commitments confirmed for next year, though several 'expressions of interest' received, I will have chance to ( as per earlier post ) progress a few things. Not sure I could elevate to the dizzy heights of DRAG anyway. They are a very clever bunch of chaps. Rob
RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted October 27, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 27, 2022 Servos, that's what you need, servos. A bit like Pecketts, in that you know you need them, but just haven't realised it yet. 1 2

Well............... I've been quietly "de-weathering" this little chap. I'm still at the stage where I am taking the factory weathering off so this is a midway...ish view of the proceedings From this........ To this......... Still a fair way to go before I start adding my own weathering. Rob. 28

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted October 28, 2022 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted October 28, 2022 Further "progress" ( I hope ! ) this morning... From this........ To this.......... Not much of a difference but the tank and cab sides have been polished using car polish, the boiler top, dome and tank tops ( ! ) have been re-weathered. Lots more fine tuning is required but I'm utilising the "fresh pair of eyes" manoeuvre.....In other words, do a bit, leave it and come back to it. As an example, I can immediately see that the tool box needs blending back in and of course the cab doors still need de-weathering.
