RMweb Premium New Haven Neil Posted August 19, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 19, 2021 Spiffing film! Customers are never that polite of course. I recall getting shouted at because of my trains interfering with the TV downstairs, so much for Triang's suppressors.

When we lived in a semi in North London, my layout was in the spare room next to the party wall. Our neighbours often complained about TV interference from my trains. One night they did so and my Dad took great delight in telling them that I wasn't running the trains because I was at Scouts. No more complaints after that... 4 4

Could I ask for some advice please - how do you remove the body of a Hornby Peckett B2 ? I can see two screws fore and aft that seem to be body retention screws not keeper plate screws, but removing the two still doesn’t seem to free the body ? Am I missing something ? Any help gratefully received - sorry for the digression Rob - you and yours readership seem knowledgeable in such matters ( I hope !) Dave It should be the visible screw at rear and one under the front NEM pocket Dave Chris

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted August 21, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted August 21, 2021 Evening all. Activities have been somewhat hampered by waking this morning with what would appear to be a trapped nerve in my shoulder. Spiffing......... However, Project X is now wired and operational. Extensive testing has been conducted and a pleasant hour has been spent doing shunty cool stuff. All appears good and as expected there are one or two challenges due to the track plan which makes life interesting (fun) In addition, The Wall Attached Turnaround System Mk2 has been fettled and fitted. Only temporary to allow use for now but it works well enough. So not all doom and gloom and more was acheived that I originally thought would be possible today. Regards Steve Hi Steve. No worries. Some sort of pine tree. That's about as good as it's going to get I'm afraid. When they were dug up I thought to myself, "That'll come in handy....."
