RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted January 18, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted January 18, 2021 Morning all, I'm both grateful and very humbled by the sentiments expressed by everyone. Thank you. Progress continues but it will take however long it takes. On a positive, I'm not so wobbly or light headed. I can now stand up without sitting straight back down and walk down down stairs without fear or trepidation. The headaches are generally gone and ones sense of taste and smell is almost there but still a tad different. Main issue is the getting out of breath doing simple , day to day tasks and by the afternoon I can be quite tired. It can feel a little like one step forward and two steps back....... RMweb Gold teaky Posted January 18, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 18, 2021 Good to see you back Rob. A perfect excuse to play trains and not worry about any modelling if you don't feel like it.
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted January 18, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 18, 2021 Very glad to see that you at least have the energy to respond to us here! Popular Post KNP
Good news. Keep on getting better and continue posting no matter how insignificant it seems.... From the darlings at Little Muddle. Message from the leader (one in the middle) 'Ba, bahh, baaa, baa, bo, blah, blah, blah' (he assures me you will understand that?) RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted January 22, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted January 22, 2021 (edited) Afternoon all. It will be a while before I can embark on building Outwool properly. The reason for this is simply with everything in lockdown, I cant get to IKEA to source my usual baseboard. In the interim, there are various things to get on with. The first set of projects will be that of the buildings. Not many, four in total. As is usual, they are all ready to plant. No modifications are planned but these buildings benefit from additional painting, detailing and weathering to bring out the best in the mouldings. There may well be a further, small structure, a grounded something or other but I'm giving that further thought before saying anything else on that score. Lots of other stuff to consider, including telegraph poles, gates etc. A big 'character piece' will be a suitably Great Eastern loading gauge. I am grateful to Chris {Gilbert} of the parish for his input on this subject. Just got to work out how to do it........and find my bullhead rail. So a bit to tick over with.... Rob. So if you are ready to go you might want to consider. In the meantime best wishes for a fully recovery. I look forward to hearing and seeing more of your inspiring models.
