I suspect the issues arise from fibres which have remained loose despite several passes of the hoover. I've also used 6mm fibres in places and it's possible these are simply too long and get pulled as the loco passes. It's not a big issue but one to be aware of. I must admit that I've been a bit paranoid about this kind of thing on Bethesda Sidings, although I don't have track anything like as overgrown as it is in the Dip of Sheep. Several passes with Henry's nozzle held (firmly) at very close range, accompanied at the same time with gentle brushing with a largish 'fluffy' type paint brush, to encourage non-glued fibres to get a move on. 1
