18131r
Hello Mick Please may I ask what paint and decals you used to get that excellent finish on the Autocoach. Thank you Richard 1

Hello Mick Thank you for the information. I would never have guessed that you had brush painted the teak, I would have put money on it being sprayed, the finish looks so smooth. micklner
Precision Paint is actually marked for brush painting (use a quality brush). The final varnish spray helps to level any imperfections as well as sealing the paint and decals. I get mine from here, good service and prices. https://www.hamodels.net/phoenix-precision-lner-coach-teak-dull.html
18131r
Hello Mick Thanks again. Foolishly I try, not very successfully, to emulate Mr Rathbone and normally use an airbrush but having seen the finish you have achieved I might try brushing the paint on. I agree, Hamodels is where I will go for the paints,I have ordered wagon kits, decals and wheels from them in the past and as you say the service and prices are good. micklner
I have never got on with Airbrushes. The Coach has at least two thin coats onto Grey Aersol Primer.
