RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted August 26, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 26, 2014 Can anyone tell me what the 'tie' looks like on Peco SL8302 (NS OO FB track, ready to lay)? Also, the Peco IL3 Code 75 FB (not C82) rail - what wooden sleeper and what tie/chair fittings could I use; is there something ready to use with it as I can't find anything on the Peco site? I realise I might have to hand build this FB track as I can't find any ready to use sleeper section on other sites I've searched. I have only ever hand-built bullhead track and points in the past so have never sourced FB rail parts. Thanks. Phil
Trog
The sleepers on the SL8302 track look somewhere between the British Rail F27BS and F40 sleepers with Pan1809 clips.
RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted August 27, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 27, 2014 SL8302 probably not suitable for 1960 then? P
Trog
What about the code 75 and code 100 track, I seem to remember the clips on that looking a bit F19 ish. Although a close up view to be sure would be handy.
RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted August 30, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 30, 2014 I'm going to look at the track when I go to Pecorama in October. That will save a lot of guessing! P
