jacksomers
Hello everyone, I've been a member of here for a while now and looking at what i'd like to model and what inspiration different people have given me and decided to take the plunge and have a north american layout and one based in England on the Great Eastern Line in Essex. I've been looking around at different layouts that have been for sale, as well as ones in magazines to help with inspiration of building my own. A couple of months ago I picked up a copy of Continental Modeller, and was immediately drawn towards a layout based in Chicago called 'Garfield Avenue'. Anyway, I found more information online and found it was for sale. I had to have it, so yesterday and today I've been rearranging my shed to fit it in and get it set up. I absolutely love it. Fantastic layout, and has plenty more areas on the layout to progress further, as well as finish other parts of the layout off with minor details. I've added some pictures below of the layout. I had great fun trying to sort out the accessory decoders to work with my Z21 Controller. I think i've got there in the end. But, if anyone can show me an easy step by step guide on finding the numbers of the decoders already connected, it'd be greatly appreciated. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pictures, and i'll keep you all up to date with new pictures, as and when I get round to doing more

Andy Reichert
Very nice urban "feel". I keep expecting to see part of the "EL" around the corner. Andy

trisonic
Very nice! You need more trash blowing around, though, but. Buddy Guy is one of the best musicians that I ever saw. I saw him in 1996 for the House of Blues Concert at Jones Beach. He was 65 years old and jumping off the stage like he was a 20 year old kid and playing in the audience. I am absolutely loving this layout.
