Goatboy
Hello to all I have been lurking here a while and have found it a very interesting and informative site. One of the main things I have picked up is the use of Google earth to 'view' locations and sites and while looking around the Front Range in Colorado I have come across this place, SE of Loveland on the GW shortline..  https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en-GB&q=johnstown%20co&gbv=2&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl  A Y junction, lines off to Greeley and UP, Loveland & Longmont for BNSF ( giving potential for diversions) and a lot of switching, including a disused branch that was used to store hopper wagons any one found anything similar with such a lot of railway in a small place?
dave_long
Don't just rely on google maps/earth. Try Bing maps birds eye view, I find that much more useful and clearer. Â Good find though. Â Regards
