RMweb Gold Market65 Posted October 10 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 10 Good evening, David. The photo’s have all posted. I am sorry you had an issue in the morning. Now, that is a superb selection of photo’s of Scotland on the West Highland and the Highland north of Inverness. J3310, of Invershin with Class 26, 5339, on a down freight train in August, 1973, is an excellent shot of the train on the bridge. The black and white photo’s from around Grantham are a splendid and nostalgic set. JVol1138, at Grantham Barrowby Road Junction, with an A1 on an up express passenger train, in c1951, is a truly excellent shot. Thank you for posting it. Warmest regards, Rob.

RMweb Gold Market65 Posted October 11 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11 Good evening, David. That’s a fantastic selection of photo’s of Switzerland, at Baden, between Zürich and Brugg on the 6th August, 1988. I particularly like C10283, of Re44ii, 11268, working a Bern to Zurich Flughafen service. A most excellent composition of the locomotive at the head of the train. The photo’s of Maldon East and Heybridge was the terminus of the lines from Witham and Woodham Ferrers, along with Tollesbury, and Harwich, are a delightful set. The first photo’ of Maldon East and Heybridge station buildings, in May, 1980, is an excellent view of how they were. Warmest regards, Rob.
RMweb Premium Mol_PMB Posted October 11 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 11 I liked the photos of Maldon East. Back when I was a kid I did a school geography project on the remains and re-use of the Maldon branches’ infrastructure. That was long after the lines closed but before the Maldon bypass was built over some key sections. Even more has been built on now!

RMweb Gold Market65 Posted October 12 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 12 Good evening, David. That’s a fantastic set of photo’s of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. All are of interest, and I particularly like J4651, at Boot, in August, 1975. A beautiful scene. Thank you for posting it. The photo’s of Swayfield are superb. The last one of a Class 55 on the 17.00 Newcastle to Kings Cross service, in July, 1974, is a great composition of a ‘Deltic plus eight’ working. RMweb Gold Market65 Posted October 13 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 13 Good evening, David. That’s a fabulous set of photo’s of the Tanfield Railway, on the 17th June, 2017. The last photo’ at Marley Hill, of HL 21, Linda, is a superb composition of the demonstration freight train. The photo’s of places beginning with a C are an excellent selection. J5835, at Chinley North Junction, of Jubilee Class 5690, Leander,on a SVRPS Dinting to Liverpool St special train, in October, 1977, is a lovely going away shot of the Jubilee. That’s a superb mixed bag of photo’s. They are certainly of use for modellers. What a delightful photo’ the last one is, near to Thirsk, of a Class 40, on an up service, in May, 1966. RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted October 14 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 14 Looks like a BMW Isetta, with the door at the front? If I remember correctly they had no reverse gear so don't drive it too close to the bufferstop. A fascinating selection of photos. A pity it closed, though perhaps rather specialised interest.
