As mentioned already the foggy one is remarkable, and quite eerie! I see there is an additional BFK, as the leading coach, in the last photo. I wonder if it was a positioning move? That viaduct was only in use for a few years (relative to the railway historically) as were quite a few of the infrastructure installations for pits opened or modified in Notts (and elsewhere of course) in the 60s. Something was happening in the late 50s and early 60s that was sometimes a little 'odd'. My favourite oddity was the brand new Roundhouse at Thornaby that was completed in 1958 I believe. The last photos were taken around sunset, using 200ASA Gaf slide film, which was grainy and produced warm colours If my memory is correct I started at Sheffield Park and had a ride to Horsted Keynes and back. Then later in the day parked on the road and walked up the field to take photos as the day drew towards its end. There was ice in places all day.
