I hardly ever manage just the Newlands horseshoe by itself, usually deciding to give up when I reach the (depressingly deep) dip between Dale Head and High Spy. On the other hand, I really like the Hindscarth ridge, and Hindscarth - Dale Head - Robinson (or vice versa) is a lovely walk. That last photo, is that Ard Crags with Scar Crags behind it, from High Snab Bank? I don't remember ever paying much attention to Scar Crags, what with Causey Pike tending to draw the eye (out of shot to the right in your picture, if I've got my bearings right). 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
