Morning all, I've just found this thread, and WONDERFUL it is too.

Were about to set off for our annual, get away from the Bl00dy Fireworks Break, to Snowdonia, so here's a couple of  pic's of Bala Lake (LLyn Tegid) where we stay, taken last April.

Who needs New England colour when we have Old England colour, I was going to take the picture yesterday when there were more leaves, but it was too misty.  They are all still there, just many are on the floor!

Today is a case of days when you know you live in Abergele. We are under an impenetrable cover of pinkish-grey cloud that appears to be forming as the airstream comes off Tan-Y-Goppa mountain behind us. Clear blue sky can be seen up there as can be seen westward towards Colwyn. East towards Rhyl is bright yellow sky. This occurs regularly when the weather is from the south (warm). Meanwhile we have the house lights on.

Just had an email from a mate in Canada - They visited ,as he put it, the Grand-brats in Calgary, and overnight the temperature went down to -40°C! Now I remember why I live in UK

And as nearly everyone knows that's -40° F as well.

Peterborough Cathedral, from the access walkway above the West Transept

Went there for the "Shoppers and Office Workers Carol Service" yesterday; full house, with all temporary seating out and people standing at the back. Now it's definitely Christmas.
