New York Public Library releases 20,000 open access maps

NYPL has release 20,000 high res historic maps with no known copyright restrictions.

I did a quick search on a few key words and returned over 200 maps when searching for "railroad". There are also over 5,000 insurance maps which have very detailed maps of any rail lines and a lot of detail about surrounding buildings. Here's one example showing the famous Harlem Terminal and Bronx Terminal.
