RMweb Gold big jim Posted March 28, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 28, 2014 only worked it once (so far), it has to run as an "X" train as its an exceptional load and you are restricted in a few places to where you can go, the only one on my route was at hatton you cant go through the main platform face northbound so have to so through the "stratford" platform (i was going south so it didnt effect me!)

RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted April 3, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 3, 2014 Wow! They look great, did you find drawings or just build from photos? When these first appeared just before the Olympics we strung along some at work saying they were for mounting the anti aircraft missile defences after all the fuss about mounting them on tower blocks. pitbull1845
Definitely, they look really good. Could do with a couple for my layout as they were at Eastleigh works not so long ago.. Tase
Hi mate yes he is my father I did wonder. I met him and the rest of the WL crew at DEMU a couple of years back. We had a long chat about the OHLE on Warren Lane where he gave me loads of advice and tips. He's a top bloke and a wonderfully skilled modeller!
