Chapel en le Frith (Central) more shows for 2024

We had a great weekend. Layout worked well, lots of very positive comments and possibly 2 wxhibition bookings.

 

A few repairs to odd bits of the layout are required but the signals need the servos connecting, the houses need finishing and.. well time to start a new set of scenic boards?

I very nearly put in a surprise appearance. I was in Shildon until Saturday morning and had to be in North London by the evening for our school 50th anniversary reunion today.

 

My original plan was to leave Shildon early and stop at Leeds for a couple of hours before continuing. Unfortunately, my granddaughters had other ideas and I was taken for a walk and play in the park, so by the time I got on the road the opportunity had gone.

 

Never mind - I'm sure you all had a good day and hope to catch up again before too long.

Just about ready for our show this weekend. A couple of dodgy wires have been resoldered so it should be good to go!

 

Great to see junior members taking the layout down and crating it up!
