RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted May 6, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 6, 2016 Never visited the urinals there although I did hold several meetings in that building - alternative facilities were available on the train back eastwards if aiming for an early finish or in the very useful building at the foot of Pennycomequick Hill and bearing a similar name to said hill.I remember driving past that pub one summer's evening. As I drove past and onto the roundabout to go on up Pennybequick Hill, there was a young chap standing with his hands tied behind his back, secured firmly to the lamp post outside the pub, stark naked. High jinks indeed.

RMweb Premium St Enodoc Posted May 6, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 6, 2016 The Pennycomequick was the postys pub I seem to remember. Aiming for an early finish in urinals can lead to embarrassment. Ar$e "Monsieur, défense de pisser!" "Je ne pisse pas, je m'abuse." "Ah, vive le sport!" RMweb Premium St Enodoc Posted May 10, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 10, 2016 Bubble.jpg What's not to like about Bubble? Not so shabby 20 or so years ago. Anyone remember a one-off pilot show called "Never Mind the Horrocks"? I found it quite funny - a pity it never became a series.
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
I liked her until she covered Joy Division songs. Now her name is not to be said out loud in my house. Nobody touches the Joy Division, nobody.
