RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted April 4, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 4, 2018 (edited) Yes mounted on a Pepsi can with tape, cut out and painted though as I didn't feel the card would stand up to cold and damp in transport long term. Oh and brass wire rather than the supplied plastic posts Basically I used the signs Edited April 4, 2018 by PaulRhB
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted April 4, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 4, 2018 You could have saved yourself the expense of the Weinert stuff by printing out the signs from images on the web (for those unaware: Weinert is expensive stuff! ) I got two packs of signs for £7 off eBay that saved a lot of working out of sizes. There weren't enough so I made my own for the rest

RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted April 8, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 8, 2018 Thanks, lots of bits to fettle and detailing to do. Oh and the light rig needs to cover the new bit It all looks good and obviously works as intended, which is great for a first public showing. But I did feel the barriers rose a little early? Given the number of ungated crossings on the HSB, I think I’d have taken the easy option!

If you listen carefully you can hear Neil stifle a damn as he had put them down a bit early and forgot to restroke the timer The Faller decoder only goes up to 20seconds and I can't use the optical sensors as they need to go too far back so every move in the station would trigger them. Typo by Tim the show manager and I chopped 2mm off his finger to show how important it is Definitely 12mm Gauge!
