RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted December 16, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 16, 2013 I’m soooo pleased about the 2HAL. Exactly what we need for Balcombe. This must be down to the success of the 2BIL. This now makes ‘number 14’ on the list of projects (scratch, bodge, kit and conversions) that have been overtaken by a ‘proprietary’ product. Part of me has always thought ******!!!…but definitely not in this case, although since we started the Balcombe project, I’ve acquired three different makes of kits, sides, conversions etc,. I suppose that if you wish and froth hard enough on these threads, your dreams can come true! Edit ..just seen the Crosti..that makes number 15...almost 'bah humbug'....! JSpencer
Some very good choices. I am surprised at the railroad Crosti 9F!! For me 2-HAL, Sutton, LSWR 700, maybe the 72XX if its early crest.

RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted December 16, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 16, 2013 Does The Great A4 Goodbye train pack come with model people to put in front of the locos whilst you photograph them ? (joke)
Fenman
A J15 AND a Claud Hamilton - brilliant news. A 2HAL too - excellent! Is it me, or does that look to have a lot more detail than the 2BIL? Some great stuff here. Really exciting programme. Paul

phil gollin
. Thanks for that effort, even with the editorial problems it is very informative. I am AMAZED at Hornby's ambitious programme - I did not note, but do they "hope" to get all out on time ? The 700 Black motor AND 2-HAL ( let alone the new 2-BIL liveries are amazing. ( AND the Railroad crosti-boilered 9F MUST HAVE visited Fawley at least once !!!!! ..

Forester
Glad there is no Original Merchant Navy. I'd rather wait for a proper non-design-clever one from Bachmann now.
APOLLO
Nice selection, something for everyone, including me,(Crosti 9F). Best wishes to Hornby, hope they get this stuff into the shops on schedule. Many thanks for posting Andy. Brit15

EddieB
Ok, there were rumours, but I never expected both a J15 and a D16/3. Hang out the flags!
Jules
Two small 0-6-0s - I wonder if that's a bit of design clever... Interesting range, nice to see they are responding to customer feedback - ref the smokebox handles on the GW big tanks
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted December 16, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 16, 2013 Wooooooohooooooo!!!!!!!!! Black Motor. .............Yipeeeeeeeeeeee! Steady now. Nice to see J 15 and Claud. Very nice. Not my bag but should prove to be good looking popular models. Also Hornby have listened, evidenced by the return of the separate smoke box handles on the GWR tanks. Overall very positive I feel. Rob
