Alcanman
Check out this superb pic by master photographer , Kevin Burkholder.  His excellent Pam Am Railways Par1 nightshot was recently posted on RMweb and I've been looking at more of his work which reminds me of O. Winston Link in the way uses big lighting for night-time shots.  http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=457917&nseq=22  Also, colorful new paintwork on this Lake State Railway SD40-2 was inspired by the paint scheme of Kevin's Great Lakes Eastern Railroad HO layout!  http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=461546&nseq=5#remarks  Mal
M Graff
I painted these after photos I got permission to use by Mr Burkholder: Â He surely knows his things!
F-UnitMad
"Lake State Railway" caught my eye as a name... reminds me of the old (& short-lived) Soo Line Lake States Division, that became Wisconsin Central.... I take it this Lake State Railway is on different territory altogether, though...? (although the Soo did serve Michigan's Upper Peninsular). Smart livery, anyway!! Thanks for posting, Mal!
