bxmoore Posted November 17, 2013 Share Posted November 17, 2013 A grand day out, indeed.  If we've learned anything, it's that you can have a huge (and regular) amount of fun, with six or so sets of individually-owned modules, a club-owned crossover module and a set of storage tracks - it doesn't have to be enormous. Add to that, you need the people to have a varied but complementary selection of skills (i.e., basic joinery, electrics/electronics/IT, some reliable stock and locos, some organisation and a bit of compromise, and you're there. Indeed, if more people came along, it could suffer from becoming too uncontrollable. It was a nippy morning, so I hostled a snow-service SD9 for the first train of the day.
