RMweb Gold pheaton Posted November 13, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 13, 2013 Hi All,For modelling purposes does anyone have any phots and any info on how long 37906 carried its large bodyside slug in transrail livery for? I note it was gone by the time it was withdrawn so im only assuming a couple of weeks, I want to order some custom transfers for an 00 Gauge model im repainting, and would like to know if it also carried it with its depot plaques or if they were mere "scars" by then.I can only find one phot but its from too far away I seem to recall one of it a Newport sporting the bodyside slug quite prominently. Also was 906 the only one to carry the bodyside slug or did 901 carry it as well? being the only other slug to make it into transrail livery?ThanksSImon
Tim Horn
Hi Simon, It was at Peterborough on the 4th January 1999, the "slug" had almost disappeared but you can just about see the outline. Cheers Tim
