Calimero
Are there any companies producing detailing kits for SNCF locos, in particular 1500v DC electric locos. If so does anyone stock them in the UK? Â Thanks

Gordonwis
Nowadays, there are very few retailers in the UK dealing with the minutae of European modelling.  For detailing parts for French modelling, there is really no alternative to making a trip to one of the shows in France that brings together all the artisans and small detailing parts companies.  The main show best for this is coming up soon: RailExpo. This is a real buyers show and always has many more trade stands than layouts.  The other more recent innovation is Ferrovi-art (art as in artisan)  One of the best 'proper' shows with both trade and layouts has just taken place - RAMMA in Sedan (Ardennes).  My favourite show which combines excellent layouts and lots of the bits and bobs traders is Orleans which is every two years in NOvember. Next edition November 2014    FERROVI’ART 2014 aura lieu les 25, 26 et 27 avril au PALAIS DES FETES de ROMAINVILLE 28, Avenue Paul Vaillant, Romainville 93230 Métro : Mairie des Lilas (Ligne 11)    Parc des expositions Saint Martin de Pontoise 95304 Cergy Pontoise Vendredi 22, samedi 23 et dimanche 24 novembre 2013—-Vendredi et samedi 10h-19h / Dimanche 10h-18h—-
