298
Following on from Dibber's Taxi thread, I thought I start a new one for photos of modelled Police cars. Fortunately, I've always resisted the cliche of having a car wrapped around a pole and wih the emergency services in attendance (or even a pair of skid marks and a bent crash barrier), but a few Cruisers have crept into the vehicle fleet. Â First up is a Busch Washington State Cruiser: Â Â And another Busch Crown VIctoria, repainted into Yakima's Black and White colours and with custom decals from eBay: Â Â Â And a real one- Â Â Â Â It's the 4th July 2004 and I was in charge of the 11:00 Selah-Yakima Trolley with Doctor Quinn, when we found this DUI driver that had gone along the YVT right-of-way in front of Davis High School, and crashed into the gate. Yakima Police were called and found the driver slumped at the wheel, and an Ambulance & TV crew turned up not long after. Apparently they took the driver away on a Gurney (which I had to google when we got home).

298
Did the police car driver give himself a ticket for parking on a fire hydrant?  We were running a bit late so didn't stop to hang around (should have done really as we would have definitely been on the evening news). And technically we should have been booked for driving in WA without a designated rubbish bag...

He is a bit big (blame Preiser), but that didn't stop me loosing him at TVNAM last year when he fell into a box and went undercover for 12 months. Talltim
While searching for Guilford Railroad police car pics I came across this appropriately named site. http://www.therailroadpolice.com/photos.htm Lots of randomish photos on one page, but some are very interesting. Also, with the amount of people modelling 70s/80s RRs, are there any 70s/80s dressed figs out there to be your perps/undercover officers? Â On a slighty off topic note Don't mess with the CSX http://www.therailroadpolice.com/CSX_SWAT_Team.jpg Not seen pics of cars like this before, presumably for security reasons http://www.therailroadpolice.com/Pelozzi4.jpg

298
What's that groovy-looking loco in the background, though, please? It's Yakima Valley's 298, a General Electric 50 ton Steeplecab from 1922. It and my model(s) of it feature quite heavily on my YouTube channel (which I'm having trouble pasting a link to....).
