SEEPEGGY

I'm posting this here as

a. I can't find the original post [it might not even be on RMWeb]

b. I am unable to post it into the NG Forum in which I'm replying to an existing post.

I think it's self explanatory.... my SEEPEGGY holder which centralizes the armature for fitting and marking out mounting holes, and makes a convenient handle by which a motor may be held whilst soldering on tails. I slip two equally thick scraps of soft card between the stock rails and the moving parts of the turnout to center them.

I prefer to solder coded tails to each motor which terminate in a piece of chocolate block making replacement and fault finding a lot easier.

I hope this has been of interest, it's at least ten years since I last posted it somewhere!
