That reminds me, I really do need to transfer my 1985 Now Thats What I Call Christmas* LP to mp3, then I can have it on a continuous loop all day long...

Slade did the same with Merry Xmas Everybody when they played Reading back in 1980.

 

I used to have it on cassette somewhere, copied from the Friday Rock Show.

 

Playing for a Rock crowd they ditched some of the more poppy songs.
