Obviously Dave Nice is Fluff Freeman. For those of a different era or country. It was a parody of Radio One DJs at the time. Some of which were well past their sell by date. You had blokes in their 50s and 60s playing records for teenagers. The bagpipes are alive and that's what they make haggis out of! I was told that by a drunken Scotsman. 1
RMweb Premium Compound2632 Posted July 7, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 7, 2021 I thought it was rather the other way round - the bagpipes are made out of the inedible bits of the haggis. The natural history of the haggis is, I think, well-known. The legs on one side are longer than on the other, for following the contours round the mountains. Male and female haggis have the longer side on opposite sides (I forget which way round) which ensures the occasionally meet for breeding. 2
