He's wearing that pinny Aunt Ethel gave him for the Feast of Ishtar.

(But why has he got a set of Panpipes fastened around his face?)

Maybe everyone else knows about this, but I've just got an error message when trying to post in a different thread (post seems to have appeared anyway) - "Euston we have a problem" :D

Congratulations to whoever thought that one up!

I'm beginning to notice memory problems -

* I walk into a room, having forgotten why I went there

* I put things down and forget where I left them

* I go to the shops and forget to buy half the things I went for

* People's names are a real problem

* So are important events, unless I use the calendar on my phone for reminders

I'm confused. My memory is excellent. For Heaven's sake, I can remember when British Rail had steam engines!

That reminds me of a fine layout which was on the exhibition circuit a few years ago “Whitney Euston “ Almost as good a name as the Scottish layout “Kyle of Minogue”.

... and not forgetting East Clintwood.

2) Faces.

3) ............... :scratchhead: :dontknow:  :fool:

"Prince of Wales"? What's the difference between this Prince of Wales and the other one?

One is the preserved relic of a bygone era that requires a lot of maintenance to allow it to continue emitting vast quantities of hot air.

The other one's a steam engine

I had a primary schoolteacher who would say something like that if a pupil pointed out a mistake he had made.

We didn't believe him either.  :)

Thought it was an aircraft carrier (or a battleship sunk in 1941)

Off to The Tower with you!!! :nono:

The Prince of Wales was a battleship, sunk in Dec 1941 along with Repulse, by the Japanese, just days after their attack on Pearl Harbor.
