RMweb Premium Popular Post Jamiel Posted October 19, 2020 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) From ‘Beyond the Farside’. I hope the language does not offend anyone. A car full of Irish nuns is sitting at a traffic light in downtown Dublin, when a bunch of rowdy drunks pull up alongside of them. "Hey, show us yer tits, ya bl**dy penguins!" shouts one of the drunks. Quite shocked, Mother Superior turns to Sister Mary Immaculata and says, "I don't think they know who we are; show them your cross." Sister Mary Immaculata rolls down her window and shouts, "P*ss off, ya f**kin' little w**kers, before I come over there and rip yer balls off!" Sister Mary Immaculata then rolls up her window, looks back at Mother Superior, quite innocently, and asks, "Did that sound cross enough?" He then loaded the paintings into his van parked nearby. Just as he was about to leave, he heard the alarm go off in the building. Without a moment's hesitation, he kicked the van into high gear and sped away. However, his van ran out of gas less than 5 minutes later, and he was caught and arrested by the police. "I don't understand", Said the police officer. "How could you plan all that so carefully, yet forget to fill up your gas tank?" To which the thief replied: "But monsieur! Zat is exactly why I stole ze paintings! I had no Monet, to buy Degas, to make ze Van Gogh!" Dave It used to be "fashionable" for men to wear flared trousers, too..... There's many a wedding photo, from that era... well hidden behind the others, on the mantlepiece. Your nephew, will maybe get over it, given time. Julian Edited October 20, 2020 by jcredfer 3 2

On the back of the funeral notice his widow had put their wedding photo from 60 years previously. He was dressed in full teddy boy gear. 5 1

I got a {very polite and quiet} telling off, by the Group Captain, for having very long hair, whilst running a Test Team which tried to infiltrate RAF Units, in order to check their security. He said that he understood that from time to time, we would use civilian attire for the work and longer hair was acceptable - but - hair well past the collar all round, was pushing it. I got my hair cut! The dark grey pinstriped, flared suit, still hangs in the wardrobe..... not sure what that says! Julian
