I assume the wagons were parked up there for some reason 66723 had brought them from Carlisle via Preston and northbound on the S&C to back them into the sidings last Friday. 723 then went to Carlisle. On Monday, it had to travel Carlisle-Settle Jn, reverse and north to Ribblehead to access the sidings. Then north to Blea Moor, run round and back to Clitheroe with the wagons! 723 then worked the first Clitheroe-Mossend in many weeks and then Mossend-Clitheroe-Mossend today. Missed popping out from work to see it pass. (It's one of those that is on my "to-do if I have a spare loco" list......) 15 hours ago, Steadfast said: Seeing in the pics the DB vans and the Axiom Rail stickers on the wagons, that makes sense since Axiom has been DB Cargo Maintenance for a few years. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted June 4, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 4, 2020 66771 "Amanda" waits on the down line at Horrocksford Junction before reversing over the crossover to the up line. Then changing ends again to go forwards into the Clitheroe Cement works sidings. Working was 0F35 Tuebrook-Clitheroe with Big Jim at the controls 4/6/20. I have a day off work tomorrow. If I get up in time, I'll see it pass my back door with a load of PCA/JPAs on the 6V35 to Avonmouth.

RMweb Premium Steadfast Posted June 6, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 6, 2020 A varied few recent ones from me 6V14 Westbury by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr Having just arrived on the Down Reception at Westbury, 66021 waits for its relief driver to get on board for the continuation of its journey from Eastleigh to Margam as 6V14. 0V14 is the return of the often photographed Saturday (usually) afternoon working 0O12 that takes engines to Westbury and Eastleigh for weekend engineering work, traffic can be added as required in either direction, making it run as a class 6. Usually locos are attached or detached at Westbury, but it was straight through tonight, no work to be done. At Newport ADJ 66055 and 60007 were added to the front. The wagons behind the loco (2 BDAs, a BEA and a BLA) are off maintenance at Eastleigh works, with noticably new wheelsets and shiny black axleboxes. 66710 Westbury by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr 66710 'Phil Packer' stabled in the New Sidings at Westbury over the weekend. 66523 4L32 Saltford Tunnel by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr 66523 emerges from Saltford Tunnel working 4L32 Wentloog - Felixstowe. Steps needed for the shot off this footbridge, a new one for me that I stumbled across while exploring the area. 66199 6B52 Winterbourne by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr Running to a VSTP schedule several hours earlier than the regular path, 66199 passes Winterbourne working 6B52 Swindon Stores - Llanwern empty steel. 66952 4O57 Freshford by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr One of the two prototype 'low emission' class 66s, 66952 leads 4O57 Wentloog - Southampton through Freshford. Obviously a success. more of these later spec 66s were ordered and can be told apart from the original spec machines by the larger cooler group grills, a fifth door in the bodyside and (except on a handful imported from Europe) a smaller fuel tank.
